SANY Renewable Energy (SANY RE) is set to make a powerful statement at WindEnergy Hamburg 2024, running from 24th to 27th September. As the largest exhibitor at the event, SANY RE is presenting under the theme ‘The Breath of A Green Future,’ showcasing its latest innovations in wind energy technology, sustainability efforts, and its commitment to achieving global net-zero goals.

The exhibition, taking place in Hall A3 at Booth 320, will feature a range of cutting-edge events and announcements that underline SANY RE’s growing prominence in the global wind energy sector. In recent years, the company has strengthened its position by focusing on in-house manufacturing of core components and upgrading its production lines. This approach has significantly improved product stability and delivery efficiency, allowing SANY RE to secure 14.1 GW in new orders and install 7.41 GW of capacity in 2023, making it the fastest-growing wind turbine manufacturer worldwide.

Among the highlights of SANY RE’s participation at WindEnergy Hamburg is the handover of the Design Evaluation Conformity Statement for the company’s 140-metre hybrid tower, part of its 10MW 919 platform. The certificate will be presented by TÜV NORD, marking an important milestone in SANY RE’s engineering excellence and reinforcing its reputation for high-performance wind energy solutions.

SANY RE is also set to unveil two new turbine models, the SI-17578 and SI-18580, specifically designed for European wind conditions. These large-megawatt turbines promise to deliver greater efficiency and profitability, meeting regional energy needs while adhering to the strict standards of the European market.

Another key feature of SANY RE’s showcase will be a panel discussion on the company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy. Experts from the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) and PwC will discuss SANY’s achievements in sustainability, alongside the launch of its Climate Action White Paper. PwC played a key role in developing the white paper, which outlines SANY RE’s commitments and plans for combating climate change through wind energy innovation.

SANY will also introduce its newly established wind power testing centre, a facility capable of testing turbines, components, and systems for turbines as large as 35MW. This groundbreaking testing capability sets a new standard for wind energy research and development, underscoring SANY’s focus on innovation and continuous improvement.

To foster collaboration with the next generation of engineers, SANY RE will host an open day for students from Hamburg University. The session aims to explore how industry-academia partnerships can drive further advancements in the wind energy sector.

SANY RE is at the forefront of intelligent manufacturing, boasting advanced facilities for wind turbine assembly, generator production, and the industry’s first intelligent manufacturing plant for turbine blades. The company’s production efficiency is unmatched, having set a record by manufacturing 800 turbines within just 100 days.

SANY’s turbines have cumulatively generated 84.2 billion kWh of clean energy as of December 2023, reducing global CO2 emissions by over 48 million tonnes. The company’s expansion into markets such as India, Kazakhstan, the Philippines, and Serbia highlights its commitment to fostering international cooperation and building a resilient global wind energy supply chain.

Visitors to WindEnergy Hamburg 2024 can explore these innovations at SANY RE’s Booth 320 in Hall A3. The company is poised to play a key role in achieving the COP28 goal of tripling renewable energy by 2030, with its forward-thinking approach to intelligent manufacturing and sustainability.
