Abu Dhabi is set to host the 2025 edition of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW), under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. The event, which will take place from 12-18 January 2025, aims to bring together global leaders to accelerate sustainable development, addressing both environmental and socioeconomic challenges.
The theme for ADSW 2025 is ‘The Nexus of Next. Supercharging Sustainable Progress,’ which reflects the convergence of technology and human expertise. The event will showcase how advancements in fields like artificial intelligence (AI), renewable energy, and sustainable practices can unlock opportunities for a US$10 trillion economic transformation, while also contributing to cleaner, healthier cities worldwide.

The event will highlight three megatrends shaping the world: the rise of emerging markets, the transformation of energy systems, and the rapid growth of AI. These technological advancements offer unprecedented potential for socioeconomic and environmental development.”
Among the confirmed partners for ADSW 2025 are key figures from energy, technology, and finance sectors, including the Department of Energy (DoE), ADNOC, Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA), Mubadala, Huawei, GE Vernova, TotalEnergies, bp, and more. These organisations are working together to drive the event’s goals of fostering collaboration and accelerating sustainable progress.
The event’s agenda includes a series of high-profile sessions and networking opportunities.
